Litigation finance is team work, and it mostly extends over a longer period. There can be one point or another where irritation or misunderstandings may occur, which should be overcome quickly in order to achieve the common goal - asserting the claim as well and as speedily as possible. In fact litigation finance agreements only provide for joint decisions, however, the claimant is mostly in a weaker position. That may especially play a role in deciding on a settlement offer made by the opposite party. An offer for claimants and their lawyers to mediate in such situations so that misunderstandings do not develop into a quarrel, or simply to explain why certain things happen - or do not happen.
