Litigation finance is a dynamically growing business which may also lead a company to reach the limit of its capacity. If that means that the careful support of funded cases is no longer possible, or if it would require unreasonable effort, or if other projects tie the human resources down, then it can make sense to outsource the case monitoring work.

Older cases may reach a stadium where there is little or no movement any longer, partly because there is a lack of in-house ideas for bringing such a case to its end and for successfully getting it out of the books. That is where it can be helpful to take a fresh look at the case, to evaluate it anew and to close it as well as possible with the involved parties - or just to get external monitoring for it.
